What My Studio Means to Me
My studio windows let a beautiful afternoon light in.
A Space I’ve Created for My Art
I’ve just finished renovating my studio, and it has quickly become a very special place for me.
It means so much more than having a room to paint in. This studio is my creative space — the place where I explore ideas freely, where I experiment, and where I allow myself to grow. For me, having a studio represents the courage to follow my dreams and to finally step into the person I’ve always felt I was meant to become.
A Quiet Sanctuary at Home
My studio faces the entrance of our home, the place where we come in and out every day. Yet once I step inside, it feels like a small sanctuary away from the noise of family life.
It’s a quiet space where I can slow down, disconnect, and allow myself to be bored — something that feels increasingly rare in a world where technology constantly demands our attention.
Renovating this studio was also an act of belief.
In this space, I truly feel like an artist.
It holds a new identity I’ve been building for myself since becoming a mother — one that brings meaning, purpose, and a deeper sense of fulfillment into my life. This studio allows me to show up fully, creatively, and honestly.
It meant trusting myself enough to invest in my dreams. It was one of the scariest things I’ve done — but also one of the most important. This space stands as a reminder that choosing yourself, even when it feels uncertain, can be deeply transformative.
